Great CD.

Days After I Buy This The Best of Fuel

The Best of Fuel

It may seem a little pre-mature for a band with only 3 albums to release a "best of" collection...but my guess is that this CD was released either to fulfill a contract obligation, or because of the fact that Fuel's lead singer recently left the band (though the group intends to continue on) and this is their way of closing a chapter in their career.

From 1998-2004, this CD contains just about every song that Fuel released as a single. From their first album, there are popular songs like "Shimmer" and "Sunburn" and the lesser known songs like "Jesus Or A Gun" and "Bittersweet". Then the group's second album is well represented with "Hemorrage In My Hands", "Bad Day", "Innocent" and "Last Time". Finally, there are songs from the group's final album with their original singer, such as "Falls On Me", "Won't Back Down" and "Quarter". This collection contains no new songs or unreleased songs (so it's strictly for the casual fan). The only song this CD is missing is "Million Miles" from the 3rd album, but that single didn't become very popular so I guess it can be over-looked.

As a fan who owns and loves all 3 of Fuel's albums, I can tell you that if you enjoy this collection all the way through, you should seriously consider picking up each of their albums. The group hasn't written a bad song once in their career, and some of their best stuff never even became a hit. But if you only need a few of their hits, then this collection has it all!

  1. How much fuel is carried on an airplane? I saw a movie once where an airplane landed on a building and it did not burn up or the building fall down but with 911 airplanes the building went down. Is there enough fuel in an airplane for it to be use like a bomb? I really do not buy in to conspiratory theories. But I have been worring if it was more to it then this. So how much fuel is carried on a airplane? And could this be real?

  3. My wife had a quarter tank of fuel according to the gauge, when the car ran out of gas. The mechanic said the fuel pump needs replaced since that is where the sensor is. This si a $700 repair, and he advised that the car will still run without replacing th efuel pump. The gauge just isn't trustworthy. My thoughts are 1) If fuel pump is failing, car won't run for long. 2) Does he know what he is talking about or is he trying to sell me a pump I don't need? 3) Will an error code scan, tell us anything more about the fuel delivery system?

  4. Theres power at fuel pump but pressure isnt being regulated through to the fuel rail. Could the problem be a faulty oil pressure switch or called a restricted fuel line be the problem of that as well as they can cause low pressure?

  5. Just after getting my fuel injectors cleaned in my Honda a while ago, my fuel economy has gone down.

  6. Walmart uses gumout liquid intake cleaner and fuel system cleaner on some automobiles. And their ad claims it will give car more power, improve fuel efficiency and reduce exhaust emissions. I am curious. Is it worth the money to have this done and will it really help my sluggish, running car?

  7. Does anyone know the ratio of airplane fuel consumption to ground fuel consumption? Also, what the **** is wrong with people these days isn't there a way to get better fuel mileage than 6-7 gallons per mile on an airplane, when you're traveling thousands of miles at a time?

  8. If so, which fueling stations do you recommend? I also heard if you re-fuel your vehicle early in the morning rather than during peak hours, you get less air in the petroleum...Is this true?
